Things you want to see against the Tigers
Hi all with the pre-season fast approaching for us sainters, yes only 3 more sleeps to go what are some of the things you want to get out of Friday nights game?
For me some of the key things i'd like to see are:
*Fast ball movement using the corridor as much as possible
*Tackling pressure making sure the oposition are always under the pump
*injury free game
*king and gardy giving us 1st use
*not being 1 dimensional kicking it to roo when he's out numbered
*forwardline pressure quality crumbers at the feet of the big guys
*geary armo howard mcqualter to step up
What would you like to see this Friday night?

Just wondering ... one of my favorite sayings is that in a fight between a big dog and a little dog over a scrap of food, back the hungry one. Given that the Tigers need a good start more than we do - our focus is on a bigger, more valuable prize - I'm not sure what to expect.
Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.

*more match practice for M Gardiner...he needs game time.
* good hit outs for the new guys and fringe players selected to see what they can contribute and where they are at. Raph, C Gardiner, Dempster, Howard, Armo, Geary, Allen.....
I would priortise by not playing many of the rookies and instead play most of our fringe players.
McEvoy and the other kids I am happy to not see much of in the NAB. We have good enough deth that they can just be developed in 2008.
*X to have a solid work out.
*Kosi playing the whole game as a key forward....even it means that GTrain and Roo be given lesser roles up forward.
I expect the Tiges to play more for a win...and the Saints more to test players out...including perhaps in new positions....or to give them game time. So if we win that to me will be a bonus and not the priority.
For example M Gardiner may not yet be in good enough form to demand a place...but needs to be given ground time to get him in form.

more marking options across half forward. Guys like Charlie Gardiner who can take a mark across HF. Don't know why we haven't used Fiora in this role more often, he's quite good overhead. Even Gehrig pushing up the ground a bit to take some pressure off the "Kick it to Riewoldt" strategy that sees teams able to pick our move forwards based on where he is.

All of the above are positives if they come about.
* Want to see a forward set-up that is not so dependent on Roo and G-Train.
* Want to see mid-fielders kicking goals.
* Want to see the likes of X, Charlie Gardiner and Schneider , if he plays,
kicking goals.
* Most of all, want our guys to be injury free.

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)
