For a while there Gram seemed in need of a rabbits foot. 1st rounder in the superdraft of 2k1, there wasn't much doubt of his talent around, but he couldn't get a look in the dynasty midfield at Brisbane.

He came to St. Kilda, wasn't part of the 22, but was one of the first selected when injuries necessitated - he'd play 1 or 2 games, look pretty good, and get hurt.

Eventually with Jones retirement, he was able to string some games together... while his kicking isn't in Jones' league, his talents have made that loss a lot less deadly than it could have been.

Gram's a good parallel to what I amagine we're going to see from Raph at some point. He'll manage to stay healthy for half a season, and people will be split into the "where did that come from" and "it's about time" camps.

Jarryd Allen, good mover with a good footy brain. Just needs to work a little harder and get some AFL fitness...will be a great asset to the Saints in years to come just like Eddy and Geary will.

Mine's definitely Attard, a bloke you'd only notice if you were at the ground, watching how hard he runs and the 1 percenters.
