Trevor Barker Award: How are votes awarded?

Hi all,

I was just curious as to how votes are awarded in the Clubs Best and Fairest - The Trevor Barker Award.

Does anyone know?

For example does every player who played in a given match receive a vote (or a score), or is it just the top 3, 5, 7 or whatever that get awarded a vote for a given match??

529 into 22 games is roughly 25 points if Roo was BOG in every game of the season. So BOG is probably worth 40 points, i'd say.

Each player is given a rating out of 10 by 4 panelists for each match.

I have a feeling it is 5 which would make more sense as Rooy would have got 50% of the max every game he played.

If it was

*3 it would be 26.45 out of 30 which is an average of 8.81 out of 10...sounds high

*4 it would be 26.45 out of 40 which is an average of 6.61 out of 10...sounds about right

*5 it would be 26.45 out of 50 which is an average of 5.29 out of 10...sounds low for Roo

But then again we do not know the basis of their 10 marks....they may be hard markers
