Just a round up of the 2007 'Bests' lists for saints-listed Casey players. There was some conjecture in the Robert Eddy thread that he picked up a few nominations in the best list towards the end of the season, so i figure i'll do the run around.

Geary was BOG, or at least for the Scorpions, against Port Melbourne. In most matches the Saints players were behind sdcorpion players in the "Bests"lists. I think Geary was one of the few Saints players who was BOG for the season.

Agree that the former coaching staff looked to praise the Casey players above the St. Kilda contributors. Hopefully that will change this year.

Well in 2008 that will mean not one Casey player will make the best. I watched a lot of Casey games and generally the best players overall were fair.If the saints players were best they were always named.I went upstairs to a lot of the after match awards and the Saints boys were looked after very well in the awards stakes.
I think that you are reading to much into it.Remember Danny Sexton was a member of Match Committe and coached the mid field in 07.He would have had a fair say in whether Eddy or Armitage played on ball.And going with that he must rate Armitage ahead of Eddy.
