Oh When the Saints wrote:Well, David Misson lamented missing records when he got to the club, so someone stuffed up somewhere.
Correct - wasnt his comments also supported by Archie Fraser? or whoever it was talking about how amazed they were that Raph Clarke couldnt even tell them his last years 3k time trials because records were so poorly kept???
Infact Misson went on to say that the Swans software (which he is not allowed to use at Saints OR any other equivalent software) would be wasted at St kilda at present because we simply dont even have the basics covered in this "data hungry" area. Thats how poorly this has been managed over 5 years.
Were records kept of the specific times and performances of players at training sessions and of when and after what activity certain injuries occurred? No, and it is this data that is critical.

I am not that fussed about that type of thing....yes we recorded lap times, bench presses etc
What we did not really do was to scientifically monitor and measure the physiology of our players...
Any bozzo can stand on an oval, or at the tan, to operate a stopwatch or count kilos on barbell.....what we needed and now have was people that really understand muscles, skeletal structures etc and how the body works and how it needs to rehabilitated and conditioned for different football tasks.
This is the individual training and conditioning of players that we were not doing.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....

I can honestly say that is not true. The players had individual programs and had records kept of what they did and were doing.
We did have players on individual, and specific prgrams.
The data was monitored and recorded in detail.
We hired who at the time, we considered to be the best in the business in regards to fitness.
I hate to break it to everyone, but apart from the area SrS raised, we weren't 'asleep at the wheel' in regards to injury management and fitness as some really want to believe.
