Also noticed at the inductees camp yesterday that the Saints player had a Vodafone logo on his polo shirt sleeve. There is a similar photo of Kosi and Fraser in the photos Saintbrat has in the training thread which was taken yesterday. All of those photos show the players with old sponsor logos.rodgerfox wrote:Big chance the Herald-Sun recycled an old photo.linz wrote:Well they should have been wearing plain T-Shirts until the new gear became available.
Either that's really poor by the Saints, or the previous sponsorships haven't expired yet?saintm wrote:Also noticed at the inductees camp yesterday that the Saints player had a Vodafone logo on his polo shirt sleeve. Could be - but at the early pre-season press conferences (at least at the Frankston announcement) the Club reps had black polos with the Club logo and no sponsor logos.rodgerfox wrote:Either that's really poor by the Saints, or the previous sponsorships haven't expired yet?saintm wrote:Also noticed at the inductees camp yesterday that the Saints player had a Vodafone logo on his polo shirt sleeve. didnt the others take part?
It was in the article. Consider yourself enlightened.Co-captains Nick Riewoldt and Lenny Hayes were two who didn't take part but that was more precautionary than anything else.
The Saints big men - Justin Koschitzke, Fraser Gehrig, Michael Gardiner and recruit Steven King -- also didn't do the 3km run and instead jogged around a near-by grassed oval.
That was part of a new alternative program which has been devised to ensure they all get to the start of the season in perfect shape.
homie there is no point in sending an injury prone big man sector on a seemingly pointless time trialhomework wrote:Enlighten me!kp83 wrote:Read the article again and you will answer your own question.homework wrote:Great news for us but my only question is why

new training shirts arrived with the new sponsors logos on..... havnt seen them yet but I am sure we will see them from now on...riccardo wrote:Its possible the gear hasn't come back from ISC yet, or they are still deciding on designs, etc.
Still, its not great that we have to use the old stuff, basically free publicity for at least 2 companies that dumped us (not sure about SKins - did they leave us or the other way around?)
