One of the better AFL commentators out there. He had genuine emotion and excitement for the game when he called it. He formed one of the best AFL calling teams with Healy and Carey.
Pioneered the way AFL should be called.
He will be sorely missed.

agreed...those three were a perfect mix of a head caller, an entertainer, a tactician and an educated and somewhat blunt opinion on teams and issuesLife Long Saint wrote:Herald-Sun page

I've seen it but still cannot believe it!
Clinton you will be missed, you were an emerging star in television coverage and always mr professional.
Your knowledge of the game was outstanding, your calls were exciting and you will not be replaced.
32 years young, very very unfair!

That is tragic news.
Clinton was my favourite commentator and was the epitome of fairness in his calls and editorial comments.
I've lost count of how many times I called 'White Line Fever' over the 5 years it ran; but I do remeber him always giving the Saints and their supporters a fair go.
VALE Clinton.

R.I.P. My favourite commentator that ever existed, and today is very tragic to hear about his death at his age. My condolences to the Grybas. Will be missed by many.

RIP Clinton.
Thoughts are with Ash and the family.... it hasn't been an easy few years for the family I know, but you always carried yourself with respect.
Will treasure the memories of those Nunawading bball nights.... gun caller... greater at the point... and above all else, a top-shelf guy.
Love Macca & Dave.
