Montagna in the pocket? Can I ask why put him there of all places? His run out of the centre and on the wing in 07 was very important to our structure.

Sorry for the double post, but I must ask the people who have put Raph on their starting 22 why he is there. Nothing personal, but the games I did seem him play this year were very poor. I am sure the guy has potential (though I admit, I struggle to see is some games), but I am just wondering what he has done to earn a spot in the starting 22 over some other players who had a much better 07 than he did.

Not Bad !!

I'd have Goddard on a HFF, Montagna on a wing, Milne in a Forward Pocket, Baker in the starting 18, L Fisher on bench as part of midfield/tag rotation. I would also have R Clarke ahead of Schneider, Armitage & Dempster at this stage.

McEvoy will need at least 10-12 games at Casey to develop against men.

It is great that there is debate surrounding trying to fit 26-28 guys into our 22. I'd bet that Ross would love this dilema for all of 2008 !!
