Yep, pretty weak coaching!! Winmar would have won another couple of games for us himself - would have played finals instead of missing out. As for Stuart Trott - he was a gun wingman, tough, durable and a leader. Apparently, we "sold" him to the Hawks who of course had him in their premiership team of 76.


I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

Winmar - champion but was losing it by that time...
Lappin - pisshead, was no great loss in the end

Biggest loss in past 5 years, impact wise, i think has been Heath Black. He was a top shelf midfielder, and i know people will agree with that, but on his day on the dome he would dominate for us. compare his output with fiora, who we got out of that trade, and we definately lost out.

well we didnt really have much choice in the matter it was either get what we could with fizz or lose black for nothing in the end blacks output has not been as good as it was at the saints with freo and Fizz has improved leaps and bounds on what he was like at richmond so i would call it a draw on that front
