Xmas with the stars

In that spirit, we composed some seasonally oriented questions for some of your favourite sporting heroes. Frankly, though, it seemed like unrewarding drudgery to actually contact them, and it was WAY close to deadline, so we just made up the answers ourselves.
ROD BUTTERSS
To you, what is the perfect traditional Christmas?
What do you normally do at this time of year? The same as any other footy fan, really. Myself and certain special significant others sit down to a meal immaculately prepared by the domestic staff, enjoy a fine red wine or two in the $200 price range, crank up Classic FM, and perhaps if the mood is mad enough have a turn or two around the ballroom.
It's either that or the Bahamas. All very "homey" but I'm a simple man at heart.
Which biblical figure do you most admire?Noah, because he understood the importance of infrastructure, although he didn't use the actual word enough for my liking.
When it rained, he built a boat. That's vision. That's why I wanted to build a spaceport at Telstra Dome. Of course, I was shouted down on that one, as usual. But in years to come, we'll see who the raving idiot was.
BEN COUSINS
What will you be doing this Christmas?
Christmas? Already?! What day is it on this year?
Well, what do you normally do at Christmas? My legal representation has insisted that I no longer answer these questions honestly, on account of it usually gets me in schtuck. Oh, do you mean Christmas type stuff, for the paper? Err, you know, just what everyone else does, wrapping err … puddings, and putting stockings in trees, and hedgehogs roasting by the open fire, and y'know, being shirtless and with strippers. Oops, what a giveaway.
According to the famous Christmas carol, what happens on the sixth day?
Nah, sorry mate, don't know Carol, and I've never lasted six days in rehab.
ANDREW DEMETRIOU
Do you have any festive season traditions?
So you like to spend some time with your loved ones at this time of year?Oh, yes, who doesn't? There's big softie Seven, and clever little Ten, and cute, smart Foxtel. And there's my family, of course.
Complete the following famous Christmas carol title Jingle …?Money. I believe you'll find it's Jingle Money. Mind you, there's one club I can name that won't be seeing much Jingle Money out of the AFL for a while, not that I suppose they'll last much longer anyway, if you know what I mean, ha ha ha. And if you do know what I mean, then I didn't say anything.
What is your New Year's resolution?Well, I can see myself spending some time at the coast. And the coast all looks, how should I put it? Golden. Kind of a, for want of a better term, "Gold Coast". And I can see a massive stadium and great future success. Oddly enough, no one else seems to be able to see either of those things. But I'm sure they'll come around after we've sung a few verses of Jingle Money together, ha ha ha ha ha. A-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAHHHH. Leave my office immediately.

Great stuff:-)
Been listening to and reading this guy since Danger LowBrow on 3RRR in the early 80's....IMHO the funniest and cleverest opinion writer around...his letters in Saturdays Age are gold
If you think he knows his sport, his music knowledge is so close to enyclopediac its not funny.
