There should be a "meet the players" day before Xmas - bit late now I suppose. Could have sold a few more memberships as well.

just recently they had a sort of family day for their fans, plenty of opportunity to meet the players and get photos etc.
they have a lot more of these events than our club and the players are often a lot easier access. however as i mentioned this could be because they have small member numbers and therefore these days are less crowded.

I miss the preseason christmas evening- again the saints were one of the first to do it and then others began having a supporter training session or family day pre christmas- memberhsip sales in particular must have benefited.

I'm guessing second weekend of march or there abouts will be the go as usual. for Major Family day.

it would be great if the club could do one for the interstaters you know send 3 or so players and a coach to each supporter state for a function , kinda like when movie stars do promo tours all over the world i know the western saints members would be there in the 100's

heck we would be happy with CJ and Miles coming home for chrissy to pop over for a function and family day with the western saints members like wise with sam fisher for the SA saints the clarke boys for the NT saints gilbo armo for Qld it could be done and it would be a great interaction with the loyal interstate fans who give up their $$ each year with at most two games a year plus if they came with the merchandise for sale they would make a killing as the only shops over here that sell saints stuff is the AFL store and we all know that bugger all of the $ from that go's to the club
