Gold Coast Game
As the AFL have put their foot down for the roos preseason and said they arent aloud to play there, do we still get to play them during the year there?

They have lost the preseason game and have been sent to Darwin as punishment, but as for the real season, as far as I know there haven't been any adjustments to the fixture as yet.n1ck wrote:i believe that the roos will still have 3 home games there next year, but the 4th has been taken away from them.
IMO North Melbourne (they are NOT the Kangaroos anymore! ) will still play all four scheduled H&A games in the GC in 2008, as it is a logistical mess changing fixtures.

THE Kangaroos have expressed disappointment in the AFL's decision to remove them from the Gold Coast during the pre-season competition and community camps — a lightning response to the club's decision to spurn the league's relocation proposal....
..... As the AFL acts swiftly to push the club away from south-east Queensland, it also appears certain that the league will let North Melbourne play only three games — instead of the requested four — at Carrara next year and that it will not play any games at all on the Gold Coast in 2009. This means the club will lose the additional $400,000 it would have received for that "extra" fourth game next year and will be deprived of a guaranteed $1.6 million in 2009.

They actually still are The Kangaroos, JB says it is too late to change the name for marketring, membership info, etc.saintspremiers wrote:
