Archie on SEN

Post: # 501431Post saintbrat »

during change of board time that jeld- wen expressed interest.
exact finances-private company- commercial and confidence agreement- No $$$ announced. Lots of work between American and Australian lawyers over that time.

length of contract good and biggest saints have ever been involved with.
work over 3 mths
question;how hard in marketplace- what looking for
Archie :you have to beleive in what you are worth and your value, a good thing, presenting your self competitively. Plenty of options for exposure for possible sponsors. the age ad ( which everyone poo-pooed-Archies words)- amazing amount of response from that,

Recruits- rookies- general overview- delighted with the choices from end of season till now. Archie was most impressed with Luke from swan districts- 21 yr old/

Thanks saintbrat.

And well done Archie.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

only got about half of it- he gives so much info in each sentence

One thing about Archie - he is always selling the club
even whilst announcing pne sponsor he was promoting the saints in the rest of the sentence.

There have been many over the journey who have doubted Archie's ability, myself included. It sounds like he has pulled off a massive deal for the club with this. I think we should all send him a short note of congratulations via email to archief@saints.com.au !!

To be honest, I was embarrassed by the Age add. Kinda seemed desperate to me. But hey, if we got a great deal out of it and we are better off for it, Kudos to Arch.

The bottom line is;

IT WORKED

Collingwood have Eddie the salesman who gets out there in the faces of of potential sponsors. We have Archie who puts the Ad out there and lets the potential sponsors show their interest by coming to him. Which method is better? Only time will tell !!

I was a little embarrassed too.

Again I might have to accept a serving of humble pie, it looks as though we nabbed a big fish we wouldn't of been chasing had it not been for that ad.
