yes, i rung up this morning, because i have the next 2 months free :D and want to watch the saints train.
the lady on the training hotline says "training will be heald at moorabbin oval wednesday the 5th at 9am, thanks for calling."
i think there will be training at moorabbin 2moz though, but it must be closed. because when i was there on wednesday i asked a man if clint jones was still in the gym because i needed a signiture from him for my sis, and he said hes gone out to lunch and will be back later for gym training, so if i come back on friday i can find him. i told him that on the training phone number it says only wednesday is training this week, and he was not happy. he was wondering why the club is so stupid and closes their PRE SEASON training during the HOLIDAYS.
i couldnt aggree more with him.

Archie Fraser told me via an email a while back that all training until the 2008 season starts is open. I doubt if anything would have changed since then - The phone link and reception staff are not always up-to-date and they will always go the safest way if you catch them on the hop.

how long is a while back.
because i have been to many Banner Makings where it is a closed session, and even we are told we shouldnt be looking out the window as it is CLOSED TO PUBLIC EYES!
if a while back is at the start of the season, i can tell you right now that there were 10+ closed sessions from then and now.

all sessions are open in the off season

the team may be permitted one (max 2) closed sessions per week during the season but still will be open

how?
when we go to banner making there is security standing outside, and once they were standing outside with the gates closed, and opened them for us.
also there is usually a guy who works for the club sitting just near the main way that you enter the oval/stadium area reading a news paper, just to make sure no one gets in.

i presume you are making your banners during the season?

therefor you may be there on one of the closed session days

during the offseason however, if training is on, you can go.

makes sence
but how many friday night games did we play this year? maybe 5?
i would say 3 or 4 out of the 5 were wednesday night closed sessions.
banner making is on wednesday for a friday game, and it looks like training is also.
