Identifying Saintsational members at the footy/fund raising

I know this topic has raised its head before, but nothing has actually happened.

I would love to see a small pin on badge made up which I am sure people would be happy to pay for saying something like;

Proud passionate Saintsational.com member

Not only would it make us more visible at the footy but is also a way of raising funds to add to player sponsorship dollars next year (if we choose again to go down that path). It could be perhaps a $5 purchase with profits going towards player sponsorship. With the amount of talent on this board, designing a badge shouldn't be too difficult at all

I am happy if the powers to be on this board want me to help source out badge producers and costs etc or someone may already have excellent connections in having them made up.

Curious as to whether others on this board would purchase a badge and wear it to the footy when they can get there?

A badge or a cap IMO are the best idea, as people are prepared to wear them around and at the football.

T-Shirts

Polo Shirts

Caps

Badges

Stubby holders

Any other stuff you can think of. No good getting the stuff if the cost of production is going to exceed what the market will bear.

I will get on to my contacts and see what can be produced.

Profits to go to a player sponsorship fund.

Any other ideas or contacts Guys can you PM me please?

Interesting that when this had a run that it was between a cap and shirt. To me there are a few issues with these ideas. Firstly they are more expensive items to produce than a badge and hence would cost members considerably more.

Shirts for some people may be a little much (remember the discussion around how old is too old to wear a footy jumper, you could insert saintsational shirt into this category). Also many people may prefer to wear their tried and tested football cap they've had for years or not wear one at all.

Badges I believe are much more discreet. One size fits all and is also likely to be purchased more broadly by a much bigger age group than I believe would happen with simply just having caps and/or shirts. Also you are producing one simple product, not having to run around ordering different sizes.
