??? Innovation from Ess & WB ?? !!

It appears that the media have taken to this "NEW" Innovation that Essendon & Western Bulldogs thought of.

James Hird has handed the No 5 on to Brent Stanton & Chris Grant has handed the No 3 on to Andreas Everett.

Now I might be a bit vague at times with my memory, but can someone confirm that Nathan Burke handed the No 3 over to Xavier Clarke a few years ago. I also remember that we beat Richmond by 80 points that night & Nick Reiwoldt got cleaned up by Tim Flemming. I also remember the hand over being a real classy affair that was even applauded by the media at the time.

Did I dream this situation with Burkey & X or are the media trying to re-write history? !!

Nothing like ours Eastern...the "hand over" in their case is just a figure of speech or at best a photo op. Our guys did it out on the ground in front of supporters. Until another club does that we cant accuse them of ripping us off

I agree to a certain extent, none of these two are anything special, IMO neither of the players seem like they will be anything extraordinary however I think that calling Everitt a poor man's Gilbert is a bit much, Everitt made a reasonable impact in his first year, something that Gilbert never managed to do, Everitt is also 2 years younger and has quite a bit of time to catch him...

St Kilda aren't a small club. We are a massive club with more fans than most. Fact!
