Big Kingy is looking very fit and Luke van Rheenen looks like he has got bigger too. Any more pics of him ??
There were a few I couldn't recognise... There was a picture of one guy standing by himself... who was that?
He looked rather strange, tanked legs and torso but skinny arms....

Having a look through the carousel again, there looked to be two options for this bloke, theres one of Charlie Gardiner standing totally by himself, looks like hes taking a step or waiting for the ball, and theres one of Sean Dempster, with the old water bloke in the background - although i cant remember exactly, the picture quality isnt that clear, it could also be sam fisher.Armoooo wrote:Both LVR and Gilbert are looking in quite good nic atm... I got a bit mixed up about who was who with the new faces. Gardiner looked real good to me - his running looked excellent to my laymans eyes and I think he did some ruck work as well, but by the time I got around to checking the rucking out they were finishing. Overall the squad did a lot of different structured drills in various configurations so it was a bit hard to take pics and take notes as well. I was impressed with the intensity and the variety.
Good to hear gardiner is travelling along nicely. The Peanut wrote:I got a bit mixed up about who was who with the new faces. I woudl really like to see him out there playing some games for us this season.
He'd be an asset to the team imo.

Yeah I had a bit of trouble working out who was who, we've had an unusually high turnover this year. Still trying to put a few faces to names.
I got there a bit late (went to Elsternwick Park instead of Elsternwick Oval, took a little while to realign), basically rocked up as Kosi was leaving.
Lot of players running laps, King and M. Gardiner together, G Tram on his own, Bally, Goddard and someone I didn't recognise.
Chips as mentioned did a bit of boxing with one of the trainers. Hopefully he won't have to use this next season, but he looked alright.
As for those doing the drills, the intensity was pretty good for this time of year. Lot of emphasis on tackling and teamwork from what I saw, and a lot of running. Roo's fitness level was looking pretty good, as was Birssy's (although I wanted to tackle him and shave off that cheesy moustache).
Dal looked in good form, and I saw C. Jones kick with accuracy at least once which was a pleasant surprise. I was impressed with LVR, the kid might just have the goods.
That's about all I can remember, I'm just no good in the mornings, and I had to rush off (I'm guessing) just before training ended.
