So which recycled players will be picked up??

Post: # 493868Post saintsRrising »

There seems to be quitea few delisted AFL players this year who have a chance of being picked up in the main draft partuicularly as the draft is mooted to week after the first 40/50 oddish....and some others as rookies.

In the main draft

Bradley, GTrain, Collard, Richards and Sampi may all draw selections...

Who do you think may ger picked up???

In a shallow draft like this one, I think we will see quite a lot more recycled players being picked up with clubs final pick. The reasoning is that they can be offered a one year contract, rather than the required two with new recruits.

Mark Johnson was just mentioned on the news.... wouldnt be surprised to see him go to an interstater.... personally, i wouldnt go near him... recon we are locked into GTrain with pick 70....

Yes, Ch. 10 said the Saints will take Gehrig with #70.

Bradley, Johnson, Collard, Dew and others will all get picked up after about pick #50. Pretty shallow draft.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

I think Gehrig will be pick 70, but I wouldn't be surprised if we picked up another recycled player in the PSD/rookie draft. I wouldn't mind any of Willits, Collard, Pfeiffer or McQualter. Would have liked us to delist Rix and draft Richards, but it is too late now.

Yep, good call IMO

I cannot see him getting much games next year

north had 6 or 7 prospects testing & training one weekend recently. They did a run around princess park & apparently collard was quite slow which is hardly a good ad for himself

just putting in a cheeky late night edit, for the record, - north to take smith as a late round smokey  I believe
