VFL teams with advantages?

Post: # 493449Post saintbrat »

there appears to be looming in Victorian football a period where there will be greater divides between VFL teams than there is for AFL teams.
which may? could lead to greater variations in AFL and AFL/VFL

be it the links to AFL teams or their resources;
AFL > VFL > advantages
Collingwood > Collingwood > Training resource/ continuity
Geelong > Geelong > Training resource / continuity
St Kilda > Casey > Casey resourced well for VFL standard
St Kilda > Frankston > Training resource
Hawthorn > Box Hill > Training? will it flow on
Bulldogs > Williamstown > training resource ?not duel use,
Richmond > ?
Essendon > Bendigo bombers > ?
North Melbourne- North Ballarat and Werribee- resources ???
Melbourne > Sandringham > ?
Carlton > Bullants >?

Melbourne is aligned with Sandy.

Richmond is affiliated with Coburg.

They used to play matches at Punt Rd as the club was effectivley a Richmond Reserves/Cobury Lions merger. Not sure if they do anymore, though.

Bendigo also used to play a match a Windy Hill.
