Yeah, bit of a nothing interview.
Sounded fairly content with the decision and was supportive of the decisiveness of the new board.
Thought that it was all about maximising the players' chance to win a flag, and thought that this move might increase that chance in terms of injury management ...

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Why would he moved down there?
I am pretty sure he doesn't live at Moorrabbin,
Sounds like the standard GT stuff this year, no one can do it right because I'm not there.

I love that GT maintains his positivity about all things St Kilda - the new board, the coach, the playing group, etc.
Class act - and a great St Kilda man.

Pfft...Every day the Frankston Freeway and train line are full to overflowing with people commuting to the city for work. Why do AFL footballers have to automatically live within 5 mins drive of their workplace?chook23 wrote:left outsaintsRrising wrote:Did not know anything...apart from being a Frankston Boy....but was obviously very excited by the news which was good to hear and saw it as a great step forward for the club in gaining good facilities.

Just on the title of this thread...
Can we stop referring to this bloke as barks?
Barks for me is supposed to represent one of the most talented, loyal, exciting and decent people to represent our club.
Not some blithering twat who can't get over a former coach and annoys the crap out of everyone with his endless harping.

Great St.Kilda men are the players who took 22.5 cents in the dollar to help keep this club in existence
What did Thomas do at the time?
He took every cent owing to him and then pissed off to North Melbourne.
How's the legal action going against the club?
everything is hush hush with the new board in relation to this, we've heard nothing
presume the new board paid him the money
Thomas was also suing for $167,00 in holiday pay, even after he 'd signed a stat dec stating that he's been paid ALL monies owing to him
Thomas only thinks about Thomas, St.Kilda is a very distant second
The legal action confirms this
Seriously Thomas was paid over 2.5 million, and $500,000 straight up from the get go, for an untried coach with no previous experience and at the end of the day he was still trying to sue the club for an extra hundred thousand or two
Great St.Kilda man , perleeeeeeeze, wake up, numbnut
Trevor Barker is a truly great St.Kilda man
Thomas is nothing more than a snake in the grass
DO THE MATHS AND THE SQUARES ARE ALL ROOTED.

b4e would seem to be more appropriate, though I'm sure there are a few with some other names they might want to use instead
never felt comfortable with people calling me barks
carry on

Not too sure many great St.Kilda men have sued the club for supposed entitlementsevertonfc wrote:I love that GT maintains his positivity about all things St Kilda - the new board, the coach, the playing group, etc.

Class act or provocative comment making media whore?
I don’t think the class act will be required in the media past 2008 when he has told all his St Kilda stories and represents little more than nuisance value.
Proudly assuming the title of forum Oracle and serving as the inaugural Saintsational ‘weak as piss brigade’ President.
