Casey Training
Had a peek and about 35-40 players.Very small group no talls, quite windy at Casey.Saw Biagi, didnt see Garrubra or Harrison there. Not much staff there and the group was very quiet but it was very hot.

Casey Council reaction to Saints move to Frankston
would appear that NOT ALL councillors were welcoming >

Casey deputy mayor Kevin Bradford said he was glad St Kilda had chosen to go to Frankston.
“Now hopefully the (Casey) CEO and council can concentrate on looking after local (football) teams and not focusing on pet projects such as St Kilda,â€

where former players are at

The Saints’ move to Frankston is a blow to the Scorpions, who lost several high-profile figures in the off-season.
Former coach Peter Banfield, who steered Casey to last season’s finals, resigned after not being offered first crack at the newly-created, full-time coaching position.
Captain Nigel Carmody followed, accepting the skipper’s role at Collingwood’s inaugural VFL side.
Five-time best-and-fairest winner Steve Harrison has also walked, moving to Chelsea as its captain/coach.
Both players said Banfield’s departure had affected their decisions.
Last season’s assistant coach Troy Makepeace has also moved to Moe.
The Scorpions last Wednesday announced that former Melbourne caretaker coach Greg Hutchison would steer the club in 2008.

Ground is built, but it is a narrow crappy little ground. It is the current home of the Frankston Dolphins in the VFL. The Council has to do some work on the ground to open up the pockets a bit more.
It is sub-standard compared to Casey Fields where the Scorpions are based.
However, there were some financial sweeteners for the club - land and building to be given to the club as an asset.

Also a much better location for most people including the players. The right choice if only out of Frankston and casey.casey scorp wrote:Ground is built, but it is a narrow crappy little ground.
