Must pay memberships by December 21???
I'm looking to get my same seat at the TD that I've had for seven years and found that if I want this I have to pay my membership by December 21.
This is a bit rich by the club as funds around Xmas are always a bit stretched. Particularly more when you're trying to save for a trip to Europe like me, but that's another story.
My point is that December 21 is a stupid deadline to put. The first game isn't for three months after this.
Not good enough, STKFC.

Maybe it is due to a higher demand than ever before...
Personally I don't mind our club heading in this direction...
We expect a lot out of our club they have every right to expect a bit in return...

You have to have your membership back by that date - you can pay via instalments from a nominated credit card.
I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

...or just have it in by that date and pay by credit card which may give you upto another month.yipper wrote:You have to have your membership back by that date - you can pay via instalments from a nominated credit card.
But with the first game in middish March....there is not reallly a lot of time.
Dec 21 deadline...
Give people say a weeks grace (plus odffice closed)....
So that then only gives 2 months ish to sell any un-used seats....not to mention may try and re-allocate some where odd seats have been cancelled.

Re: Must pay memberships by December 21???
BWR - I've had my seat just as long and renewals for those wishing to retain the same seat have always been due in December... In fact, it used to be early December. I've always 'planned' for it that way though last year I did take up the payment plan. As others have said, it is so the club knows who is not reserving seats so they can re-sell them.B W and R all over wrote:I'm looking to get my same seat at the TD that I've had for seven years and found that if I want this I have to pay my membership by December 21.

I think you're being a little harsh towards the club - I am happy that I am given the opportunity to renew the same seat year after year!

Only problem was we lost the:-
Hitouts to advantage 17 to 1
Clearances from ruck contests 43 to 15
etc...etc...etc...etc...etc...etc...etc...etc...
after buffoonery like that it's still hard to believe the coach was on $500,000 a year, and that he then turns around and attempts to sue the club he says he loves, for $273,000 which includes a figure of $167,000 for holiday pay and annual leave entitlements when he already signed a stat dec stating he was not owed a cent, but hey that's another story
