I'm still jealous of West Coast.......
The WCE heiracy are saying that their 2006 flag has been negated completely by the drugs fiasco.
What bulltish.
The fact remains and will always remain that they won the 2006 premiership....however tainted it may be.
The fact is we haven't won a flag for 40 years.
Unless the AFL strip the Eagles of the 2006 flag they always have that fall back on, no matter how messy things become from now onwards.

to be honest. i rather not win a premiership then win one that is tainted. What can u gain from the respect by winning one if u lose it, and possibly get negative respect.. if u know what i mean lol . So WestCoast get 10+ Respect for winning premiership. but now that its tainted, their respect prob goes down to -10, so they're basically worse off cuz they cant be proud of winning the 2006 premiership.

Is the 2006 premiership tainted?
Is the 2004 premiership tainted?
Is the 1995 premiership tainted?
...and in each case, would you have the premiership taken back?
whats tainted about the 04 port premiership? did I miss something?
the 06 premiership is tainted if any evidence can provided that one player was under the influence of drugs, then yes the premiership should be taken back.
in early 07 when this issue was raised, the AFL destroyed stored samples taken after the GF from players 'for privacy issues'. this was clearly a case of head in the sand.

"It's a work in progress," Lyon said.
apparently one ruckman who is now a key defender would prove to be the difference between winning and losing. one of the three players to have been striked, one of those is currently at the saintsSaints Premiers 2006 wrote:i would love to know what is tainted abut the 04 flag...if ever a club worked for it and went through pain it is the power in that yearDan Warna wrote:under the current rules salary cap cheating = loss of points, these rules weren't that strong in 95.evertonfc wrote:A question folks...
