Ben Cousins has not obligation or responsibility to anyone but himself and his family.
How the F*** do you / we know what hes doing behind closed doors.
How do you know hes not trying?
How do you know he hasnt admitted anything to his family and friends?
FFS everyone up there on their pedestals pisses me off. He's a human being for gods sake.
Yep no responsibility whatsoever except for the fact he has thousands of kids wearing his jumper/number around and looking up to him.
He is a role model - like it or lump it.
He is in the public eye.
He is a drug addict who shows no remorse and has made no apologies that I've seen to his fans.
Publicly he has made his father look like a dill by saying nationally he didn't miss an appointment when he was allegedly on a five day bender - but as a father I would have done the same. I would hope that I had raised my son to come out and apologise for it later.
If he was my son of course I would be supporting him but I would also hope I had raised him to be a better person than what he is purporting to be at the moment.
I don't give a F*** what he's doing behind closed doors etc. as suggested above, but as a very high profile role model and "mark" of our "brand" as we like to refer to it, he has become a disgrace who needs to work his shyte out and right some wrongs.
I don't know that he's not trying, but every time I see the smug arrogance on his face when he thinks he's got away with another "faux pas", the less I like the AFL and the WCE stance.
I would hate to see him at the Saints.
With him I'll keep my position on my high pedestal until he turns it around and gives me a reason to think he's doing something positive for himself, his family, his fans, teh AFL and for Australia, because so far he's farked it all up.
Take a step back Benny and look at some others you overpaid overrated turd.
Pffft LA rehab. Pfft who the F*** do you think you are you superstar needing to go there FFS......
