Xavier And Raph's Little Brother ?
Is Xavier and Raph Clarke's brother eligible to be drafted this year ??
I forget his name but I remember watching him in the NTAFL last year but I have not seen or herd anything about him this year.
Doe's anyone know what going on with him ??

First I've heard about a third Clarke, can't say I'm that interested though, but knowing our luck he'd probably get picked up by another club and be the best of the lot.

report from 2006
Big-name youngstersNO SHORTAGE of promising players on display at the AFL under-16 championships in Brisbane — and no shortage of players with strong AFL connections either. Queensland's Patrick Allan, for instance, is the son of former star Graeme Allan and teammate Lachlan Moir's father Andrew played at Melbourne. For the Northern Territory, Marius Clarke is a brother of Raph and Xavier, Tom Frawley is Danny's nephew, Marlon Motlop is a cousin of Daniel and Shannon, Charlie McAdam is Gilbert's son and Cameron Stokes is Mathew's cousin. For Tasmania, Harry Riewoldt is a cousin of Nick and brother of Jack (Tasmania's under-18s) and Tyson Mihocek's father Jack played for Essendon. For Western Australia, Cale Morton's brother Mitch played for West Coast, for South Australia Bradley Ebert is former champion Russell Ebert's nephew and Tyson Slattery's father Wayne played for St Kilda and for Vic Country and Scott Selwood is the brother of AFL players Adam and Troy. Which brings us to Stewart Gilchrist who plays for NSW/ACT. But no, he is no relation to Adam.
Northern territory team list from 2007- Marius is 17 now

Take him on breeding strength alone...Oh When the Saints wrote:Geez - just looked at McAdam's stats for his first three games.
32 disposals, 29 disposals 1 goal and 24 disposals 2 goals
His old man was an incredible talent. Some of that has clearly filtered down the line.
Rookie list
Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.
Gilbert McAdam turned on a display as well against Collingwood from memory.riccardo wrote:Sadly, it was all downhill after that IIRC.Oh When the Saints wrote:Geez - just looked at McAdam's stats for his first three games.

was a much loved player and generally put in the best of the 90s teams.
had a massive impact on memories of fans from that era.
I loved the way he'd scoop the ball up on the run, at full tilt, bounce one handed (the story being he had the second biggest hands at the team behind buckets), and just drop it on his boot for a boomer into the forward line at never anything less than 100% pace.
also I remember one tackle he did where he threw himself at the player and like a rubber man his body seemed to follow behind in slow mo to wrap him up in a wrestling like move.
loved the flying scotsman gilbert mcadam.
left because melbourne didn't suit him and Brisbane was closer to home. Dont think he ever settled well in brisbane.
much loved player IMO.

Nothing special, only Joel seems like he's going to be a superstar, the others just look like they are going to be solid contributors.goodie wrote:Can you imagine what the club with all the Selwoods would be like?GrumpyOne wrote:Inside word from Darwin is that the third Clarke is the best of the bunch.
I wish we had a brother-brother rule in AFL.

Why dont u turn off the computer and head down to the golden square chemist to pick up ur methodone?
Winner!
if the Clarke brothers keep up their current trend, then this latest one might as well just put on the oppositions jumper before we run out onto the field

that's what they said about raph. imo the talent's there but whether he has the determination and work ethic is yet to be seen. 2008 is his chance to show us what he's got.GrumpyOne wrote:Inside word from Darwin is that the third Clarke is the best of the bunch.

Wasn't Raph meant to be the best player to come out of NT when he was younger ??bigcarl wrote:that's what they said about raph. imo the talent's there but whether he has the determination and work ethic is yet to be seen. 2008 is his chance to show us what he's got.GrumpyOne wrote:Inside word from Darwin is that the third Clarke is the best of the bunch.
