Mmm ... again, the salary suggests someone recently finished a course in this area at uni.

Still, an important position from a members point of view.

Whoever it is needs to halve the flash content of the site ASAP.

It's good they are hiring a full-time person for this position though ...

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Well I hope they are hiring a Journo too....otherwise you are just going to have pretty web-pages and e-newsletters with content worth bugga all in them.

The emphasis of that job is all about getting the structure of pages and e-newsletters up and out.....but with nothing in the job description about having the ability to actually make things a good read. So I say again...I hope that they are also engaging someone to provide content...and who has the ability and talent to do so.

I seriously can not stand the official Saints website, it is nothing but a waste of cyberspace!!
There is absolutely nothing on there about that scholarship kid Khan Haketaru or whatever, while this in itself is not a big deal it is just an example of how rarely the saints page ever give you any actual 'news'

Please Peanut, you are the one

All that needs doing is change the name of WoM to Saints.com.au, give Telstra, BigPond and the AFL (the milking bast..ds that they are) the Big A and then we will have the best site of all.

Get into it Peanut, NOW.

Seriously, this job IS for Peanut.

If he's salary expectations/skill level/previous employment/his personal needs requires a larger salary, then that should be considered.

Heck, if we can sponsor a player - can't we sponsor The Peanut also if he aint getting offered enough???

IF the brilliant web master is interested, PLEASE St.Kilda FC seriously consider da man!

Thanks Davo.

Totally agree..the Peanut is the man for the job..but whilst knowing stuff all about Web design, I reckon even our WOM Master will tear his hair out trying to make something constructive and useable out of the Telstra/Sportal framework and constraints he wil have to work within

But IM sure if anyone can..he can :-)
