Per Simon Gorr who does the FIXture for the AFL, our "draw" has 4 times as many constraints as the NFL fixture!

well it is the AFL we are talking about and we know they are full of shyte.OneEyedSainter77 wrote:i just wish they would release it when they say they're gonna release it for once. I'm very pissed off.
I can't believe SEN haven't made mention of this pathetic effort, but then again it's KB on and what would he know?!
The NFL have a SCHEDULE, the AFL has a FIXTURE - there's your difference.
The NFL's system is based on equity where team's know years in advance what the rotation will be. The AFL pulls it out of their arse to maixmise profits - equity has nothing to do with it.
There are problems with the NFL system though because playoff positions are determined by conference standings. A team with an 8-8 record in a weak division can secure a home playoff game and a team with a better record in a tough division can miss out all together.
