Gee that CFC logo needs to be brought into the 21st century. Doesn't look to have changed much at all over the last 110 years.

I think that the owners of "The Saint" ie. Simon Templar, took action to ban the St Kilda Football Club from using the "Stick Man" as shown in the 1977 Logo. I understand that they may also take action against a rogue Saintsational poster who is using a licensed DVD product as his avatar!!

South Melbourne hadn't moved to Sydnet in 1977, rendering their 2007 logo as WRONG! (Well, at least the club name underneath it)

75 Logo was a classic.

I remember thinking it was cool at the time but now it summed us up pretty well for the era, big neanderthal with "where did it go look on the face"

I always assumed the blonde 1975 guy was modelled on all our blonde footy players of the time - eg Trevor Barker. I had a towel with that blonde guy for over 20 years! (Hardly ever used it, because I regarded it as a momento) But I must admit, I always loved the Saint stick man.

It was before my time but I vaguely remember hearing that we got into copyright trouble for using the stickman because it was the figure that was used on the TV show The Saint.

Our club in its infinite wisdom just blatantly stole the idea. God bless 'em.
