Timmid was right re Begley and Leadership

Post: # 479673Post Bowey Boy »

Begley has become a leader as Timmid predicted. Good luck to him although he never did us much good.

FREMANTLE has appointed Brisbane Lions two-time premiership player Chris Scott as an assistant coach and former St Kilda and Adelaide player James Begley as its leadership and development manager.

The two additions continue the revamping of the Dockers' football department under new coach Mark Harvey.

Chris Bond has already been appointed list development manager and Dean Wallis as an assistant coach.

i believe it is a smart move appointing a 20-something in a leadership/managerial role....

and considering begley's roles with corporate types (from memory) its a good move

wow...timmid tim got something right...

He had some sort of excuse. his best mate Josh Deegan had just died in the Bali bombings - and he was greatly affected by that. So he had his reasons for moving back home.

Shame because I always liked him as a player... Thought he was quite handy.
