yep what would wada know, those crazy boys and girls at WADA
methamphetamine (methylamphetamine or desoxyephedrine), popularly shortened to meth and also nicknamed "ice", is a psychostimulant and sympathomimetic drug.
OH NOES METHAMPHETAMINE IS A STIMULANT
WTF?!!!!
OH NOES
well we had already worked out just what plugger66 knows anyway........one of his revelations was that silly kenny would be with the saints in 2007....even with a new board....the fact that he was a mate...and previous employee of casey wasn't going to make the slightest difference.....
You are so right they are banned. How could I have so wrong. Wada have banned them.
Hey wait I see. They are banned in competition not out. How does differ from the AFL. Sorry it doesnt.

Not a bad 2nd half Cousins played against us in Round 21 .....
Grrrr. If Cousins hadn't played we would have made the 8. Mind you, we would have been knocked out again after the 2nd final.
I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.
go back and read what you posted, you said WADA said its recreational, wada never said its recreational, wada said its a stimulant.
i accept you apology

Sorry that may or may not be right but what I was getting at it is only tested in competition because WADA say it is not performance enhancing out of competition. As do the AFL. Again I say what would WADA know.

Dan actually did some investigation. They are stimulants but only on match day but they are recreational on other days

so what did you mean by recreational then?
its not a recreational drug. its a stimulant its pretty clear there.
as for in competition, the language is pretty flued but from whent he competition starts to when it finishes not just match day.
is the AFL competition only match day or for the AFL season? because the terminology includes and caters for an athelete getting sprung ANY time during the olympics, not just on the day he or she competes on.
so given the AFL season, if ben cousins or any other footballer takes methamphetamines in season in competition they are cheating.
they are not recreational.

The AFL is the same as WADA. WADA would only test for ICE on the day the person runs. If a person has only one run at the Olympics and it is on day 2 they cannot be tested for that drug on day 14 only day 2.The AFL test on game day. The AFL as per WADA ice is performance enhancing on game day and they are stupid using any other day but not cheating.

nope pretty sure the text in the code said they can test before or after competition and the competition period for an 'in competition' drug that is listed in the s6 schedule.
i guess for costs they generally test 24 hours either side of teh event, but they can test any time during the competition period.

So when will the AFL take back the 2006 Premiership Cup ?
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!
