Congratulations Rama and Lonegran!

Both players have just been upgraded from rookies to the senior list for 2008.

Rama has (at the moment) beaten cancer and Lonegran nearly died from a severe kidney injury.

Awesome effort for both blokes.

May they have the best of luck and personal good form next season.

Worthy of post IMO.

Yeah good on them, I really rate Lonergan, he will be a star IMO...
Good on Geelong and Essendon for treating them good aswell...

It is good to see in such a competitve world like AFL there actually still is room for sentiment.

Lonergan showed in that VFL grand final just how much potential he has.
Very impressive display.

Well done to both clubs for sticking by your players during tough times, and may the go on and succeed in 08.
