Re: 66 grand final
if you buy the dvd of the 66 grand final and then watch it on power-dvd (which you can download for a free 30 day trial) you can then take screen shots of any moments of the final.st_Trav_ofWA wrote:hey guys just wondering im doing a bit of an art project and was wondering if anyone had any images of the 66 grandfinal or knew of a site that had some any help would be great

I use it all the time to take pictures of myself and teammates playing footy in our dvds.

That's how I find a lot of old Saints images. For instance, I've seen stuff about big Carl, Doc, and Ian Stewart there too.
Cheers

I just searched on Google images for you. (Not the general Google site, but "Google images"). I saw a really lovely photo of Doc Baldock,
which is on the official Saints site.
You can find it at the following link:
http://saints.com.au/TheClub/History/Ha ... fault.aspx
There is a beautiful page, with a whole description of the 1966 Granny, with nice photos of Stewart, Baldock, Ditrich (playing card kind of photos).
http://www.fullpointsfooty.net/1966_VFL_grand_final.htm
Another nice page about Ian Stewart, which had a photo of him running out on Grand Final day with the captains
http://www.footballlegends.org/ian_stewart.htm
There's a team shot of the 1966 Saints on that page too.
Members of the Saints team running around with the cup (in Pies guerseys) and a bit of local history

The WEG poster of 1966 can be found at
http://www.carnegiecollectables.com.au/66baldock.jpg
A Barry Breen footy card can be found at:
http://www.fullpointsfooty.net/images/bbreensk.jpg
There's also a photo of a ball-up from the GF at the following site:
http://www.abc.net.au/reslib/200609/r107234_331664.jpg
I didn't find the specific photo you were talking about, but I only searched for about 20 mins.
Cheers
