How does it affect our rookie management? Do we need to elevate/delist more than 3 now?

I am not sure but I think that in 2007 we did not elect to call them vets in order that we could maximise the number of our rookies......

So 4 if Harv=vet is listed as a vet...3 if just as a player...but I am not sure on the exact rules.

Not necessarily, considering the big question mark over Michael Gardiner.

One thing for sure is that our pick number 9 will be used on a midfielder

we have our two vets from 2007 still on the list- Harves and Max- thommo wasn't a vet- Not for lack of trying by the saints over the last two years.

We didnt use the vets list this year so we could get 6 rookies. The same next year.

Maybe maybe not....I think that they would like to...

But there are som good running rucks who would then be ready to play when King and possibly Gardiner retire.....

and maybea young FB...who again will need several years.

It will depend alot on who is left...but yes given the 4 we picked up another mid would be a priority.

right we didn't...but we could call harvey a vet this year...and take one less rookie...then add one more to the general list.....which would need four additions to top it back up to 38....plus banger....39...5 rookies =44......

Yes OOPPS forget about elevating 2 rookies.....

So that means we need to delist 1 or 2 players.

It might also mean that Geary may be left as a rookie too.....

However Schneider may mean that CJ's future is more limited?????

to my searching we nothing published on Saints delistings-
and true our Vets are included inside the list but still regarded as vets and paid as such?

Is there a ten year deal with the vetrans list?

Kingy has had 13 years or so at the catery so can he go on the vets list even though he is only 28 he has 13 years service to his name.

I heard him say thats the least they could do after 13 years service when asked about what geelong had done for him to get him to the saints.

saint milk

A player has to play for a club for ten years to be a vet, and can only be a vet at the club they have played 10 years for.

Also as to the title of this thread... WE HAVE TO USE 3picks in the draft.

I hope CJ is cut, if we have to cut someone.

Harvey is a double veteran due to 20 years service so whatever he is paid is DEDUCTED from out TPP

So if we elevate two rookies, (Geary / Eddy for example)

We will still need to chop two, is this correct? Chop 3 if we wish to take part in the PSD (one pick)?
