so sweeney kicks the most goals and gets delisted, brooks does his usual f*** all and is retained...and for all the brooks sympathisers out there who have told me he played as a key forward all year and thus should not be judged as a ruck, whats your excuse now????

Both presentation nights held on Friday 5 October :?:

Obviously no attempt to have a STKFC presence at the Scorps night.

If we want harmony between the 2 clubs surely we should have separate nights so those involved with both clubs can attend both nights :!:

I trust your value of the 80 year old man.....

...because im positive you've seem more of a bloke holding a mop in the air than both of Brooks and Sweeney put together....

....making your judgment/opinion on the abilities of Brooks and Sweeney extremely justifies.

Maybe it's an award for Scorps only players ,or maybe the fact a Saints listed player didn't get top 3 is a true reflection of our depth ,or maybe it's a reflection of the Saints big injury list and so players are in and out of the Scorps team...

In short,i haven't the foggiest what it means but you'd expect AFL listed players to dominate, unless Banfield had them on the pine way too often....

What it does show is that Watts,Brooks, Sweeney and one or two others who played most of the year were not overly good compared to some of the casey players.

Didn't play a game all season, had one of the biggest pre-seasons in the history of the game, was fit, lean, ready for a big year. Then had a terrible run of injury/bad luck and mid-way through the season was in Hospital with his life very much under threat. Recovered and came back to be around the club, will be back next season.

The saints in the best position to poll early in the season, unfortunately (or fortunately in some cases) didn't play enough games to have a chance of winning, i.e,Jonesy, Gilbert, Birss. were the best chances early on for the saints.

Thanks mate, saw him pre season and he was injured then, said he had had a good pre season. Also said to me that a few of the senior boys had been using the facilities over last pre season, mainly goose. Are the Casey facilities actually better than ours?

The Casey best and Fairest was on the same time as ours. Bit stupid as i would have liked to have gone to Caseys to support the Scorps.

The saints boys were in and out of the side to much to get in the top 3.They all got good game time and generally always started on the ground.Ferg was close but missed the last 3-4 to play in the seniors. He may have been a chance otherwise.
