im thinking yes yes and yes because i think we can do it for harveys last year
but all my mates say, keep dreaming coz if they were going to win one for him it would be before he is 36 years old! what is true
but something tells me it will be no no and no and from about round 8 its going to be obvious we wont be in the finals!

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

we had so many injuries to alot of our players in the 1st part of the year, so if we can get most of our starting 18/22 we will win alot more games in the 1st part of the year..plugger66 wrote:Maybe, no, no we havent got many really young players coming through that will improve so it can only come from Goose, Hayes, Gardy? and one or two others. We also lose our leading goalkicker so it maybe tough.

Yes...a top four finish
Yes...if the quality of the 8 and state of the teams injury wise is the same as this years lot.
Yes...if Geelong suffer some injuries or their confidence is shaken. Would love to see us butt heads with them in a Grand Final but we'll need a little luck, a lot of improvement and a single minded will to succeed from the players.

I think its reasonable to say we should make finals, and to expect to make finals. What happens in the finals is dependant on form going in, injuries and who you play in the finals and their form etc. Grand final day is a lot to do with how you deal with the nerves, expectations and anticipation of the day.
We are a chance to do all 3, and we are good enough to IMO.

Maybe this year?
