Silver 'Septopia' Person - What's the Dealio Yo?

Nearly forgot about this (probably better if I did) but what's everyone's thoughts on that flying silver 'septopia' person (yet to figure out gender)during the GF?

Personally, it was like when you watch some terrible scene in a movie and you feel embarrased, like you were involved with it. What fool came up with that idea and how much was he/she paid? It got worse when the person was hanging there unable to place the cup on the pedastal, god i'm still crinjing..

Is that the cup delivery thing?

Should have had a jet pack guy.

The spinning balloon woman never really got past all the ropes guiding it. If there was more of a Hindenburg feel to it I may have engaged with it more?

It was just another pitiful excuse to say goodbye to James Hird. Will the hero worship never end? It was his 2397631586345th token farewell! He'll probably do a Voss and crawl up the dias next year as well.

To me, It looked incredibly un-rehearsed andpretty tacky.
I sat there and cringed at it.
The whole pre-game entertainment was very very mediocre...

If only Hirdy would publicise them some more. The sad thing is they've spent more time out on AFL grounds in the past year than Aaron Hamill and Michael Gardiner combined.
