My favourite goal was Jarrod Waite's.

To dribble the ball around the man on the mark like that was clever. Never seen anything quite like that before.

Against us Fev's run down from behind gather the ball and slot one through from 50 out was pretty special.
Lloyd dropped the ball in a tackle, gee you could even argue he threw the ball, either way free kick end of story...!

I thought it was the general public.... probably the same bogan kind of mentality that vote for Big Brother or Australian Idol who are dangerous when they have a mobile in their hand......

Yep, that was a good one.

I only consider myself qualified to nominate from saints games, but Fev, Foley, Dal Santo x2, and Milne are four that deserve to be ahead of Lloyd's 'effort'.

With Lloyd's goal, I didn't realise drop-kicks had been outlawed.

Deffo not goal of the year but not even a hint of a free kick.

The argument was that he dropped the ball in a tackle.

He had two opponents touching him with one hand each, which I wouldn't consider a tackle, but some seem to like twisting it that way.

Yep, hardly a tackle but even if it was a good tackle it's a goal anyway.

Drop kicks are still a legitimate way of disposing of a football, as legitimate as a handball or a drop punt so, as unorthodox as it may have been, he still disposed of the footy correctly.

There were a couple of unbelievable checkside efforts from Jackson and Davis that were right up there but I think the checkside is seen as a little bit run-of-the-mill these days.

Pavlich's goal against Essendon here was remarkable, firstly in keeping the ball in play and then somehow finishing.

That bicycle kick attempt from Didak though, had it have been kicked, should have been goal of the year and quite comfortably too.

GOTY is a disgraceful choice. It was a novelty goal only.

The real skill was Motlop's goal from the boundary. This shows what clowns Dimwit and his dancing monkey really are.

I can't believe Lloyd got that!! What complete crap!

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!
