Board to meet

From Saints Website
"In the view of a majority of the Board, this was a mischievous attempt to unfairly limit the preparation of a proper response to members.
The Club has received strong advice that John Gdanski’s second notice is invalid on a number of counts, including the limited notice period.
However, the Club is equally committed to calling an EGM where the members of the Club can and will decide the make up of their preferred Board."
Reading between the lines it almost looks like they realise the current board is in big trouble and that maybe they can have other individual board members be voted in. I don't know enough about the constitution of the club but I would have thought it was too little too late if SFF can get 12000 proxies before the EGM.
If I remember rightly when Carlton had the EGM to get the Pratt ticket over the line they had a very poor turnout of members to vote, not even 50%. If this was the case at the Saints then SFF would be already over the line.

20 days still makes 23rd oct possible.
that's 23 days in Oct and 8 days in Sept- 31 days.

spot on.SaintWal wrote:I don't know about you Saintbrat but my gut feeling is that Butterrs is going down all legal avenues to try and stop the SFF ticket. If that is the case it will get very ugly and possibly soul destroying for the club.
The arrogant prick thinks he is above everything and has simply just lost the plot big time.
Very sad........for him, for our club
