Juddy woke screaming in a cold sweat. The light turned on, it was Mummy. Thank goodness. She gave him a hug and a kiss on his forehead.
"What is it darling?", Mummy asked. "What frightened you? Barry Hall, Ben Cousins' tummy or was it that silly Daniel Kerr, again?"
"No Mummy, it was the woman I met yesterday at Mr Dick's house, the man from Carscum. Her face, I can't get it out of my mind. That look of permanent surprise, its scary", Juddy sobbed.
"Don't worry precious, it will all be okay, would you like me to sing that little song of mine?", asked Mummy.
"No thanks, Mummy, but I wish my the Twig was here in her red dress", whimpered Juddy.
"Sweetie, your father and I think it might be best if the Twig stayed in Perth, we feel she's not the right one for you", implored Mummy.
"But, Mummy" snivelled Juddy.
"Maybe tomorrow you can talk to Eddie and he might be able to introduce you to that lovely Livinia Nixon", posited Mummy, "they both work at Channel Nine and she seems gorgeous".
"Okay Mummy, as long as I don't have another nightmare about that scary woman. Night, night Mummy, I do love being home again", whispered Juddy as he fell asleep.
