Couldn't bear to loose both G train and Harvs in one hit!

Now I believe it!

ST KILDA champion Robert Harvey will line up for his 21st league season, after announcing on Thursday he would play on in 2008.

The 359-game veteran said his love for the game and pursuit of a premiership were the motivating factors behind his decision.

At 36, Harvey is the AFL’s oldest player. He is confident his body can stand up to the rigours of the modern game.

Despite being hampered by hamstring problems this year, Harvey, played 19 games and is expected to poll well in the Saints’ best and fairest award.

A dual Brownlow Medallist, Harvey has won four club best and fairests.

Go Harvs you legend! Nearly a myth!

Geez, they're really going hard on this SMS stuff. Not that it's a bad thing, though...

And FWIW, since when did Harves develop such an excited text message personality?

He sounded uber pumped to be playing on next year.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Has Rob had surgery or broken his arm?

Photo on AFL Photos which says it is from today's press conference, link below, is showing plaster or a bandage on his arm.

I wonder how long he played with that?

PS we can now add another accolade to Harvey's huge list of honours.

Longest serving player ever with 21 seasons.

Nursing an arm in plaster following an arthroscopy to replace a ligament in his left wrist, Harvey announced on Thursday that he would be back in Saints colours in 2008, chasing the premiership that's eluded him since his debut at Moorabbin as a 17-year-old in 1988.

I got it when Eatern was giving me a driving lesson.
Funnily enough, it was Eastern who sent it to me!
SOmehow, I don't feel special enough to get the message straight from the club itself lol.
