Couldn't bear to loose both G train and Harvs in one hit!

The 359-game veteran said his love for the game and pursuit of a premiership were the motivating factors behind his decision.

At 36, Harvey is the AFLâ€™s oldest player. He is confident his body can stand up to the rigours of the modern game.

Despite being hampered by hamstring problems this year, Harvey, played 19 games and is expected to poll well in the Saintsâ€™ best and fairest award.

A dual Brownlow Medallist, Harvey has won four club best and fairests.
