and to those saying kicking 7 in a final makes u a superstar, a certain J Farmer kicked 8 in a final a couple of years ago, anyone willing to stand up and say hes a super star?
didn't think so
Im comparing Frankins kick to any of Riewoldts throughout his entire career.
Riewoldt struggles 15m directly in front.
Give Franklin 3 more years and you will see.
2.11 anyone......
2.11 in ONE game WILL always be better than 3.4 EVERY game.

If he is just as dominant as this year, then hats off he has arrived.
Roo has been doing it for four years now, part of being a superstar or champion is longevity. Buddy has potential, loads of it, but he has to back it up.
I remember Adrian McAdam, anyone else remember this one season wonder? How many at the time wondered what he would become.
Franklin has been getting the best defender each week this season. How much more respect is needed?
Massie played on both Riewoldt and Franklin for their respective game...one kicked 7 goals.
What Buddy did yesterday ie WIN GAMES you will rarely see Riewoldt do.
You are kidding aren't you?
Forgot Massie was in the AA team, legend he is...I suppose he is the best defender..way ahead of Rutten and Bock.
As for Roo, he plays mostly outside forward 50, is a far better kick for goal than many give him credit for and rarely plays a bad game.
Franklin will get much closer attention next year, no matter who plays on him.

Rutton didnt play on Franklin because he didnt play close to goal.
Riewoldt is a PATHETIC kick for goal.
Dont look at the goal scoring stats, its the fact that even his goals are wobble, crooked mongrels that only sneak in.
To produce what he did against the Crows at 20 years old is unbelievable. Cant compare with goalkickers at the same stage, as the game has changed so much IMO. Will be interested to see if he can produce anything similar next week against Roos. Personally, I cant see who will stophim if their midfield gets it down quick.
Riewoldt is a star, he produces week in week out, but to this day hasn't dominated a finals match. Buddy in his first finals match has won the game off his own boot. He kicked 3 goals from outside 50, and a match winner from 55 on a angle, when he had to kick it. Let him be arrogant, stood up when he needed to in a big match.
Whether he can re-produce it is another question, but he deserves some respect after that kind of performance.
And hack pup is out again, bowled without troubling the scorers.

He's winning games of finals NOW!
Sure he's pathetic, I can't believe people still underrate the bloke, he had a good year in front of the big sticks this year, kicked plenty of pressure ones.
How many players do you think could have got to that torp in the Doggies game?
Roo is hands down our best player, would not swap him for anyone in the league.

are yes 2.11 but he assisted with others so they could kick a goal or 2 , funny thing i find is if it is a horrid angle or a fair distance a very hard shot at goal he usually slots it it is the easy ones he may miss
