Best Team on the Park?

Post: # 452476Post SaintWodonga »

How many years has it been since we've had our best 22 out there?

There has been (in the last few years) always someone out due to injury.

Not making excuses, but what would it mean to us to have a period of time with our best 22 out there playing well?

Sydney & WCE both have had a great run (until this year :D ) with injuries and have been right up there.

It's been so long since we've had a dream injury run, that I think when it turns for us (and it will) that the media will be surprised in our improvement.

We also need to get our fitness up so we can play out the last quarter much better. Just my thoughts.. Feel free to disagree or agree :)

Probably in 2004 during the streak I reckon Wodonga. Clubs will always have injuries, it's just that ours happened to top 10 players, not fringe players.

I think during the streak in 2004 we also had injuries but nowhere near as many at the same time as 2003 and 2005-2007.

I recall Max being out for a while? and Guerra was suspended for some time.
