Stat from the weekend to celebrate...
Last weekends win over Richmond was our 800th H&A win in our history.
Takes our record to 800/22/1297 (38.27%)

Interesting
HSVK not sure where you got your data from
But I make us one short.
Same total games
799 wins
1298 losses
22 draws
2119 tot games
38.23%
The 799 reconciles with the Footystats site.
But stats.rleague agrees with your 800.
I am confused

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

I was thinking maybe it was hit outs to advantage

I am excited to stay at St Kilda and this is a great result for the Club and all our fans. I’m proud to be part of the Saints and am pleased to be playing football with the Clubâ€

The "afl.allthestats" site agrees with 799 wins
I wonder if it has anything to do with a game against geelong about 90 years ago where we won, but played an ineligible player (he had been suspended in a country league), so we had the 4 points taken away, but the scores remained valid.
Perhaps the stats.rleague site still counts that game as a win ?

As I suspected.
Correct result is
StKilda have won 799 games NOT 800.
The problem is Round 6 1909
Geelong 3.3 5.7 5.7 6.12 (48)
St Kilda 2.0 2.4 4.12 6.13 (49)
We won by a point
BUT
"For the first time in VFL/AFL history St Kilda forfeited the four premierships points for playing a suspended player against Geelong. The player was suspended by the Bendigo Football Association. The scores and percentages remained the same."
Unfortunately, because the scores were deemed to "stand", some sites using database analysis have counted this as a win when totalling cumulative wins.

We could also say that we won... though we had our points deducted.
