Talking about the draft etc etc got me thinking over the years how many ordinary players have pulled on the red white and black.
My top 2 would be
Tim Elliot
Beetham
Anyone else remember some "duds" from a few years back?

A player called Barry Brooks ?
We gave away a first round draft pick for him and has nothing apart from 1 good game in Round 22 2006 which GT was using him as trade bait.

Michael Gardiner: has made no impact whatsoever.

By far the bigget dud was David Winbanks...
Stewart made a fuss about getting him from the Swans and rushed him into the Pies game...
HUGE dud!!!

I'm in total agreeance with you on this one. Watts is also looking like a doosy for a first round pick.
Ian Stewart swap for Billy Barrott was a major blunder. Billy played 3 ? games for Saints, Stewie went and won his third brownlow for Tiges that season.

Tim Elliot
Justin Plapp
Mark McGough
Clinton Jones
Raphael Clarke
Troy Schwarze
I would have to say the worst of that lot was Tim Elliot.
And that Greek guy, i can't remember his name. The one with the terrible skills and yetti legs.

I'll start with Moncrief
I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.

the funny thing is..all of these players have played more games than you people who bag them and call them useless.
why start a thread belittling players who have served our club? (whether it be poorly or not)

It's nothing serious just a bit of fun geez what's with people getting upset about these threads.
It's a forum not a newspaper im sure the players mentioned would even care what we say.
As you said they have played AFL so who cares!

It's not criticising the players so much as criticising the people who selected these duds. (I mean players who try hard)

its fun at other peoples expense! these threads are garbage and bring down the overall quality of the forum.

i'm sure the players care more about what the supporters think than the opinion of a journalist.

I think thats real hard on Beetham, he wouldn't have been a bad player if his heart had been in it.
I always remember closing my eyes everytime Justin *crap* I mean Plapp got the ball.
In Ross Get lost!
I am excited to stay at St Kilda and this is a great result for the Club and all our fans. I’m proud to be part of the Saints and am pleased to be playing football with the Clubâ€
