Pendlebury is, by far, the best player out of the nominees. I suspect, however, that the Joel Selwood hype machine will get him over the line. I suspect that Sam Gilbert has no chance. Most I've heard haven't even mentioned him as a possibility. I suspect most votes to go to Selwood, Pendlebury, Smith, Westhoff and Jones. They can underrate him all they like. I suspect he'll end up better than most of the players who wind up beating him.
Maybe KB can vote properly this year, since there are no Richmond players nominated.
