TANK. Sad but true. There's no reward for finishing 9th, go the draft picks!
I don't know how the whole priority pick thing works now, but if we lose we can still finish 13th mathematically, 12th possibly, 11th realistically, 10th a good chance.
It's a crap way of thinking, but that's the way the AFL is.
Should be a raffle for teams outside the 8.

If we lose we will still probably finish 9th so we must try and win as every club in our position should do.Munga wrote:TANK. Sad but true. There's no reward for finishing 9th, go the draft picks!

Let's experiment as much as possible tommorow.
Play Geary and whoever else we can get in who's a kid.
Give Ferguson heaps of game time, hell, if CJ plays, give him 100 minutes on the ball.
Trial Blake as a defender - a position I think he could possibly play.
I don't hope we *lose*, but I hope we finish 13th and we try out as many things as possible tomorrow.

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

I still don't think there should be "weighting" towards the lower teams, that still gives them incentive to lose.Winmarvellous wrote:I agree with the lottery system. the Nba weights the lottery to favour the lower teams, but you can still get top pick from 9th. Gotta be better then the current sytsem
Honestly we'll probably still finish 9th even if we lose, but take some risks, play some kids, send off some heroes, and bring on the MELBOURNE VICTORY tomorrow night!

What now for Ball?
Should we not look into the best possible way of curing this groin/OP thing. If he plays tomorrow, I personally will wonder why, as there is absolutley nbo benefit for him or his body in it, and an extra weeks rest, even at this time in the season, can only help.
