TANK. Sad but true. There's no reward for finishing 9th, go the draft picks!
I don't know how the whole priority pick thing works now, but if we lose we can still finish 13th mathematically, 12th possibly, 11th realistically, 10th a good chance.

It's a crap way of thinking, but that's the way the AFL is.
Should be a raffle for teams outside the 8.

If we lose we will still probably finish 9th so we must try and win as every club in our position should do.

Let's experiment as much as possible tommorow.

Play Geary and whoever else we can get in who's a kid.

Give Ferguson heaps of game time, hell, if CJ plays, give him 100 minutes on the ball.

Trial Blake as a defender - a position I think he could possibly play.

I don't hope we *lose*, but I hope we finish 13th and we try out as many things as possible tomorrow.

I agree with the lottery system. the Nba weights the lottery to favour the lower teams, but you can still get top pick from 9th. Gotta be better then the current sytsem

Tank in Sir Robert's last game?

And let's move it quickly to the tall guys who can catch. Who knows... that may even work!

yeah, why the hell would we tank when we are 9th? if we were 9th on % and if we lose could go down to 13th, DO IT, but we need to beet these idiots! there is no worse way for finnishing the seasion than losing to the worst!

As long as Brisbane and Freo lose to Geelong and Port, there is no way that we can get a higher draft pick. Even if those two did win, we'd only go from having pick 8 to pick 6.

I still don't think there should be "weighting" towards the lower teams, that still gives them incentive to lose.

Honestly we'll probably still finish 9th even if we lose, but take some risks, play some kids, send off some heroes, and bring on the MELBOURNE VICTORY tomorrow night! 8-)

If things go the way they are we are in for a bumper preseason. Not many long term injuries apart from Goddard (should be right for running), Hamill, Attard, Ball

What now for Ball?

Post: # 447258Post Winmarvellous »

Should we not look into the best possible way of curing this groin/OP thing. If he plays tomorrow, I personally will wonder why, as there is absolutley nbo benefit for him or his body in it, and an extra weeks rest, even at this time in the season, can only help.

I reckon we should make Rod Butterss do a lap of 'honour' tomorrow.

The man's a genius.
