what a load of crap !evertonfc wrote:Don't say that too loudly.eppo67 wrote:Hasleby is NOT a hack that is a stupid comment.
He is a lot better than Mini or CJ are ever going to be.
CJ's bandwagon is gaining some serious momentum on the strength of...his good looks?
just because some posters dont blame world famine on a player who in his first year is doing more then a bloke on our list whos been there for 5 years doesnt make us bandwagon jumpers and his looks are irrelevent
compairing Haselby and CJ is unfair CJ is a rookie and not ever going to be a superstar and haselby is a first round draft pick and highly regarded but at the same time not workthe ammount we would have to give up for him

i never said haze was a hackeppo67 wrote:So describing Hasleby as a hack is not a load of crap.
Read peoples replies in context before you get all excited.
But I will tell you what is a load of crap that is CJ getting a game in front of Andrew Thompson in his final year. If the Crows win tonight that better change.
i dont think he right for us i think hes too slow and too fat tobe worth what freo would want for him
i get pissed off by the CJ bandwagon comment
as for CJ getting a game over thommo as sad as it is that thommo might not get a goodbye game RL obviously sees something in CJ that warrants his selection and i have more faith that the selection pannel would know whos going to be the best fit for the game
and everton if you cant understand me cause i dont put capitals at the start of my posts and i dont punctuate or spell 100% correct then oh well i wont lose sleep over it !

I didnt say you said he was a hack Trav. I was replying to someone who did.
Also big deal if CJ gets a few kicks against the bottom team what is that going to prove.
I'll tell you what it will prove Jack S..t!! For him to get a game in front of a long serving clubman is F...ed in the extreme.
Better still it is not even a good tactical decision b/c our midfield has struggled big time of late. We have out 2 top onball taggers missing in Baker and Attard and thinish midfield options. Thommo helps out on all these fronts Cj fits none of them.
This is all very smelly IMO.

Forget emotion - Thommo should be playing because what he can offer our club in the next five weeks is greater than what CJ will offer.eppo67 wrote:I didnt say you said he was a hack Trav. I was replying to someone who did.

Besides, CJ is 50/50 to get the chop anyway, if he has another shocker, I'd be dissapointed in RL kept faith in him at his age.
Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Your right except it shouldn't be a novel idea to expect some pace.bendigo bob wrote:no...No... and NO. Not worth picking up. Heres a novel idea how about we get someone with pace.
Haselny has talent, is slow and has his offield problems. A big no from me.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
