Pies be silly to play us.....
I reckon Collingwood would be crazy to wanna play us....we seem to have the game that when on opens them up a little...
Was just reading some of their Pie Board stuff at Bigfooty (tks JD for the access code etc) and some interesting quotes:
"as long as the lions, saints & dogs arent in the finals (always struggle agaisnt those teams) I really dont fear anyone, and dont feel that other teams will really fear us."
and..
"Agree, all the teams that are in the eight we seem to play well against.....our sort of bogey teams Dogs, Dees, Saints all may miss out........but by beating the crows we may open the door for the Saints to sneak in!"
Crows at the G second week travelling would HAVE to be a beter option for them surely.....we have some good form on them and crowd support would not be all their way.....
I hate em.

collingwood will go out this friday and give their all..whether or not it is good enough to beat the crows, i dont know.
winning form is good form, and the pies wont want to go in with a loss, especially if it results in a match against the team they just lost too.
we still have ourselves to blame if we dont make it.

Form is a very precious thing to have in football and it should not be flirted with at any time!!
Do u see geelong resting players even though they had top spot stitched up 3 weeks ago?
Collingwood WILL be just as desperate as the crows.
I think mentally if they lost to a side in rd 22 and had to play them again the following week, they may be a bit unsure of themselves come September action.
Go Pies - do us proud for 1 week anyway
Collingwood won't tank.

The likely outcome of the ladder will see the winner of Coll vs StK play in Melbourne the following week against the loser of Geel vs Kang.Teflon wrote:sorry HSV - Im slow with the machinations......r u saying that if they lose this week...then they are travelling week 2 of finals? BUT if they win this week.....likely to secure a Mleb final?

I don't think we can really predict what either team will do on Friday night.
The Crows are going to be fired up and highly stressed, which is one of those unpredictable things: they could freeze (as they have done at crucial stages in the last two finals series) or they could roll over the top of the Pies in the first half, regardless of how hard the Pies might be trying: at which point the Pies might switch off, give their stars plenty of time on the bench, and coast towards a loss in preparation for next week.
I really hope the Crows freeze, and the Pies put plenty of points on the scoreboard early on. That should do the trick.

I started the thread (please check title) to talk footy. I also asked nicely to refrain from abuse IF you cant say/contribute to the thread/forum...AND STILL moderators allow this type of rubbish to hijack threads????Oh When the Saints wrote:Cut it out please Teflon and stinger.

its as good as you deserve...but thats beside the point....THE BIGGER question is why you decided to stumble into a discussion I was having with another poster with 1 purpose only - TO BE A SM@RT @SS?? in the first place?stinger wrote:Teflon wrote: I started the thread (please check title) to talk footy. We'll add hypocrfit to the list also.
But once again.....mods gloss over this....and allow this to go on and ultimately hijack an entire thread I started on footy.

that would be a first....Teflon wrote:[

....how many threads have you jumped into a discussion between me and another poster...everytime there has been an opportunity to put sh!t on me..is the answer......
