Blind Freddie reckons we need the Filth to knock off the Crows on Friday, and for us to kill the Tiges. So the question arises, if Rocca is pinged will that help? I reckon he will get off. Having looked at the incident several times it looks as though he pulled his hand back immediately after contact as though to indicate he did not mean to strike.
In my opinion his absence from their line-up will add strength to their attack so here's hoping he plays.

If the Pies win...we only need to win against the Tiges..a win of any size will do.Duggie wrote:Blind Freddie reckons we need the Filth to knock off the Crows on Friday, and for us to kill the Tiges.:

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

rocca is overrated not in the league for talent.
but he does work very very hard.
even if he can't mark, and he is nowhere near the quality mark that reiwoldt, loewe etc are, he is disciplined enough to bring the ball to ground.
and collingwood's B team midfielders work very hard, so even when beaten, they can mop up.
work ethic is burke like, without the talent in some of them.
Burns is one of the most disciplined midfielders around, and easily of the same quality as brett rattan and nathan burke.

This is the kind of attitude that St.Kilda supporters are known for.TAGHLAO wrote:I'd rather miss the finals.....
Embracing mediocrity.
My most hated team is Adelaide, so i would gladly barrack for Collingwood on friday night, but if it were the other way around and we needed the Crows to win, i wouldnt blink.
Who cares who it is, if its good for us, why not go for it?

I'm not cheering the Pies on, I'm just booing the Crows and wishing bad form on them!st_Trav_ofWA wrote:i cant believe that the saints are actually hoping/cheering for a pies win it just not natural i tells ya
When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Sydney are a bunch of koalas in that they are a protected species!!!
As for Rocca getting off i am very suprised, coz he did hit an afl lovechild (also sydney player) in A.Goodes, im suprised that didnt come with an automatic 2 weeks on top of the actual incident
If i remember correctly J.Cloke missed a GF because of a very similar incident, when he smashed T.Edwards face

can someone post the link to the MRP findings re Buchanan - ie. was it negligent/high impact etc etc....let's analyse that before hanging him.
He may have got a 25% clean record discount + 25% early plea discount remember....

The hit from Buchannan was High contact, and hard enough impact for Clark to be assisted from the ground (like Farmer).
How hard was the hit by Baker?
Oh, that's right - no-one saw Baker hit Farmer!
I've got no issue with the loading on Baker's penalty. It's the fact he was found guilty with no video proof or evidence that he actually did anything other than stnd in front of Farmer, and was given 4 weeks.

Yeah, as long as he doesn't do it the week after against us.Behind Play wrote:Rocca got a reprimand....IMO that should be better for us. I trust the big oath pulls his finger out and kicks 10.
